Because this website has been built and maintained on that plan, my opinion comes from using the platform in a real-world environment rather than simply reading documentation or promotional pages. Every article I've published, every page I've created, and every update I've made has helped shape my view of what WordPress.com does well and where it could still improve.
One of the main reasons I continued using WordPress.com is because it allows me to focus almost entirely on content creation. I don't have to think about server maintenance, security updates, SSL certificates, or configuring performance optimizations. Those responsibilities are handled by WordPress.com, which means I can spend more time testing WordPress products, writing tutorials, and improving BuildWithWP.net.
